Ona Kingston O is a Christian Development Worker, his passion for Igede people and her language started in the late 80s and in 1990 he took an employment with Bible school Obobu as Igede language teacher. He later joined Igede Bible Translation project in 1996 as translator and was among the nine translators that did the Igede Bible. In 2008 -2011, he joined Association for Promoting Quality Education in Igedeland as literacy officer and rose to the level of project supervisor. He authored 9 books on Igede comic and stories and he is currently the General Secretary of Igede Writers Bureau. His unwavering commitment to the advancement and development of Igede language has got him involved in many related projects across Igede land.
This blog site is his modest contribution to the preservation and sustenance of the language in its original form and also revealing the rich cultural heritage of Igede people to the world. This blog is an invaluable and distinctive tool that will help in the discovery of the much needed facts about the people, their culture and the language. The team of Myekeemedia is composed of professionals and we are passionate to see Igede people have significant knowledge about themselves, speak the language correctly and write with utmost accuracy.
Ona Kingston had worked for over a decade with Berea Youth Programme- a Christian Youth Ministry and currently with Salvational Manual Network Initiative as a Bible commentator and analyst.
