Benin is not a language, Benin is geographical location that comprises of similar and dissimilar languages from one ancestry and of one ancestry.
Benin is not restricted to Edo language only and Benin is not relegated to Edo state alone. Prior to the invasion of Benin Empire and, prior to the advent of the Colonials, the Benins that are now divided into various states in Nigeria has always been one people irrespective of our similar and dissimilar spoken languages that upholds the beauty of our diversities.
