Oneness is often associated with unity, harmony, and mutual benefit. It represents the idea of working together for the greater good of all involved. However, there are times when oneness can exist solely for the benefit of one party. This type of oneness is not true oneness but rather a manipulation of the concept for selfish gain. In politics, leaders may espouse a sense of unity and identity but only to maintain their own power and control. They may promote policies that benefit their own interests while ignoring the needs of other groups or individuals. This type of oneness is not true patriotism but rather a manipulation for personal reputation.
Throughout history, many societies have proclaimed the virtues of oneness and unity, but all too often, these proclamations are nothing more than empty rhetoric. This is especially true when it comes to the treatment of minority tribes by majority tribes. In such situations, the majority tribe often claims to be unified with the minority tribe, but in reality, they are marginalizing and oppressing them. Despite proclaiming their unity with the minority tribe, the majority tribe often hoards resources and opportunities, leaving the minority tribe to struggle with poverty and unemployment. This deceitful and hypocritical behavior is not only morally reprehensible but also harmful to society as a whole.
True oneness is built on a foundation of mutual respect, trust, and understanding. It requires a willingness to listen to others and consider their needs and perspectives, even if they differ from our own. It involves a recognition that we are all connected, and that our actions have an impact on others. True oneness benefits everyone involved, not just one party. While the concept of oneness can be a powerful force for positive change, it can also be used to manipulate and exploit others. True oneness requires a commitment to mutual benefit and collaboration, and a recognition that we are all in this together.
BECAUSE WE ARE ONE, IT MEANS IF THE NEXT EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION CAN BE SITUATED IN IGEDE LAND, IT WILL MAKE NO SERIOUS DIFFERENCE OR WILL IT?
We appreciate the representation at the senatorial capacity right from the time of Senator David Mark, who promised a mortuary and a few other projects in Igede land and were delivered. We are happy with Senator Abba Moro’s interventions ranging from Odiapa Bridge and other projects flying online and offline. An educational institution will not be a bad idea in Igede land because we are maybe still ‘ONE’.
Happy Good Friday good people of Zone C.
