In the vast and intricate tapestry of the animal kingdom, a perpetual battle for supremacy unfolds, echoing the struggles for relevance. From the depths of the oceans to the towering heights of the forests, animals vie for dominance.
The animals agreed to have an annual festival in a faraway land in the Northern part of Africa. But something happened within the year, and the COUNCIL OF LIONS decreed that the festival should not be as usual with fanfare but celebrated low-keyed.
The MAJESTIC EAGLES, saddled with the authority of organizing the annual event, saw the need and agreed with the COUNCIL OF LIONS. A formal announcement was made about the celebration, and the issue was settled and put to rest. All the important components of the animal kingdom saw the reason and obliged.
A few weeks into the annual celebration, THE CUNNING FOX from the heart of the woods emerges with a narration full of dubious craftiness and cunning speed to declare that the yearly festival shall still hold and add other activities that some gullible animals will be at home with. THE CUNNING FOX flavoured the narration with unrealistic ego boasting ‘cock and bull stories’ and true to expectation, the ANTS that want to eat and feast followed with their full chest and find every fault with the COUNCIL OF LIONS AND THE MAJESTIC EAGLES. In the street, they shout and shout–it will hold, it is for development, it is for healing, it is for reconciliation, it is to show the animal kingdom to the world and not minding the historical and cultural perspective to the whole celebration if the Lions and the Eagles are not willing to be part of it.
THE TORTOISE returned from the journey and, after hearing the altercation asked THE CUNNING FOX the following questions: What do you stand exactly to benefit if you fight the Lions and the Eagles? Do you think you are more knowledgeable in matters of peace and coexistence than other animals? How far will the Ants help you achieve communal peace and harmony after that one day? Why is your character synonymous with fighting and jumping due process?
THE CUNNING FOX is still making consultations, and the whole animal kingdom is watching to see the end to THIS BATTLE FOR SUPREMACY.
