Those who only speak the truth when bribed are not only morally bankrupt but also a hindrance to the progress and integrity of the society. The life and health of the society is costly to be jettisoned because of a morsel of bread. On the other hand, when people saddled with leadership positions are given excuses of fear as reasons for not telling the truth, then they don’t understand the power of truth and the shield it provides.
