Asking good questions is better than asking bad ones. What a childish assertion? Who will not know that simple idea-that good is better than bad.

In our dear land, one clan looked pretty much like the next one. So what makes the difference? The landmarks or the minds of the people? Not the colour of the skin and the facial pattern. Not the arrangement of the bodily features, but the size of the heart. Still on the proclivity to embrace violence at slightest provocation and immediately after the havoc come a warm embrace and a smile too wide to be real and sincere.

We have only two options; we either deny that our land is porous and problematic or we sincerely talk about it. A critical observation will reveal that, we are even better off if we get angry while discussing than the thoughtless and speedy forgiveness.

Wake me up and hurriedly take me back to the time when harmony among the clans of our dear land was the watchword. Suddenly, clannish strife that was tamped down by the gospel of Christ eventually returned and clothed with the apparel of religiosity. The scars of heartlessness of some persons are still haunting us, and one person somewhere is questioning why the other person should be angry for that long. Why the other persons are delaying the healing process.

We either talk about the whole thing or we sit and drink on a time bomb. Do we increase occasions where we will eat more together? Or do we increase the number of clubs or associations? Or do we pray more with all the hypocritical Christians? How are we going to address the whole issue?

To be honest, I don’t know. ONE THING I KNOW IS- IT IS NOT YET UHURU.
