TODAY MONDAY SEPTEMBER 5, 2022 IS IHYIGILE
The D-day is here for the celebration of Igede Agba 2022 and as much as we eat and drink together, let us do a throwback to the basics our fathers anchored on when they initiated the festival and made it a national day for all children of Igede Agba.
It is principally about–unity and oneness. It is about the brotherhood, concern and care we shared, people with a common goal as a tribe, joined by a common tongue and identity. These values are sacrosanct and timeless regardless of the changes and mordernisation the festival is wearing now.
As we eat, drink and make merry, may we express true love for one another and think of how we can live in peace with one another and ensure a holistic development of the land.
