Our vision of Christ depends on the state of our character. Character determines revelation. There must be something corresponding to God in our character before we can have a vision of Christ. Until we are born again, not according to the will of man, but according to the nature of God, we cannot see anything spiritual or divine. We may see the vision of our manufactured preconception or the imagination of our will and expectation. It must be God first, second, and third; until our life is faced with God and God alone, there will be no vision. God, we are willing for your optical surgery so we can see the vision of you as we travel through this dark world this week and beyond.
