When are Christians most liable to sleep? Is it not when temporal circumstances are prosperous? Not when we have daily troubles to take to the throne of grace? Christian went not to sleep when lions are on the way, or when paddling through the river. Easy roads make sleepy travelers. Dangerous time is when all goes pleasantly in spiritual matters. Lord, help me to understand the times and seasons and not be careless when I need to be serious.
Luke 22:46
