Our heavenly Father, sends us frequent troubles to try our faith. If our faith be worth anything, it will stand the test. Gilt is afraid of fire, but gold is not. It is a weak faith that can only trust God when friends are true, the body full of health, and the business profitable; but true faith holds by the Lord’s faithfulness when friends are gone, when the body is sick, when spirits are depressed, and the light of the Father’s countenance is hidden. Help me Lord to be that kind of a child that will depend on you whatever the cost in this week and beyond.
Job 19:25
“I know that my Redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand upon the earth.” (NIV)
“M̀ jẹ ká ọngọgbamkpehe juwa hịhị, ụka ohyẹẹkpẹ, ọ ka warị wẹ odehe kọ ka chị eje ham” (Igede)
“But I know sey God dey for heaven and E go kom save mi for di end.” (Pidgin)
