Elstwhile Special Adviser to Governor Samuel Ortom on Religious Affairs and civil Society and leading aspirant in the coming Oju 1 State Constituency PDP primary poll, Hon. Pastor Onah Blessed Emmanuel yesterday, 17th May, 2022 ran into an Octogenarian, PA Ogah Okebe from Anyuwogbu Ibilla, Oju LGA, Benue State.
Decrepit Pa Okebe in a brief expository chat with the Man of God disclosed that he is 132 years old this year. He should be about the oldest man living in the entire Igede Kingdom today. He is said to have graduated from Methodist Central School now Jesus College, Otukpo in 1945 shortly after the end of the first World War in October. One amazing attributes of the senior citizen is his sharp memory. He made references pointing out dates and time with ease.
PA Okebe became a teacher in 1946 at Methodist Primary School, now LGEA Ibilla Center. He taught the early Igede elites in primary school. from Ibilla. PA Okebe is a retired civil servant and he is based in Anyuwogbu Ibilla, Oju LGA Benue State. Baba got his May, 2022 stipends yesterday and according to the Man of God who is highly reputed for his concerns for the aged across the land, Baba’s stipend will continue to run by the grace of God for as long as the Almighty God permits.
Responding, Pa Okebe blessed Pastor Onah and prayed God to bless him more. You would recall that Hon. Pastor Onah recently donated a beautiful house to a helpless widow at Idajwo. The house was commissioned by His Excellency, Gov. Samuel Ortom.
