PUBLICATION–010MM2023
Though immensely rich, the story of Igede people, especially the chronological historical and sociocultural evolution, has not been given the desired attention. Hence, insufficient documentation has been achieved in that area. We must know our stories because we have them, as it will help us understand our existence and essence in life as a people.
In the increasing complexity of human existence and interrelationships or what could be simply put–the mutual or reciprocal relation or relatedness; we need to have our history and values documented and placed in the public domain for posterity. Congratulations to all who had made some inroad into this all-important area; we need more of it and new entrants.
